India U19 started a series of ODI Youth against Australia strongly and on Saturday chased 226 with commanding seven goals in Brisbane.
The star of the show was Abhigyan Kundu and made sparkling unsurpassed 87 out of 74 balls to lead his team home with 117 vans still remaining. His knocking defining a match, decorated with eight borders and five sixs, earned him the match player.
Put on the bat, Australian shifts have never gained fully on force, despite the smooth 77 from John James. James, who came to the uncertain 34 for three, resulted in six and six, created a short partnership with Tom Hogan (41 OFF 81) and late Hitter Ben Gordon (16 out of 11).

However, regular strikes of Indian pitching ensured that the hosts were kept under control. Henil Patel (3/38) was a selection of attack, while Kanishk Chauhan (2/39) and Kishan Kumar (2/59) provided a major breakthrough. Australia ended at 225 for nine of their 50 breaks – competitive but stunning on a good faucet.

Indian persecution began in high equipment, when Vibhav SuryavANSHi broke 38 of only 22 balls, attached seven and six and six. His premature attack pushed the rate of application from the equation, although Australia briefly returned with two quick strikes by Charles Lachmund (2/46). At 75 for three, the game hung in balance, but the pussy and vedant TRIVEDI (61 OFF 69)* together to put India firmly on top.
The couple added a continuous 152-run partnership for the fourth goal, showing maturity and peace far after their years. TRIVEDI anchored the persecution of the controlled Tipplay, while the pussy accelerated with a bold hit to ensure a quick surface.
The result gave India the leadership of 1-0 in the ODI series for multiple youth matches and emphasized the depth in the order of their bats. Australia will stutter the middle order and the inability to build around James’s shifts, while India takes a heart from a clinical versatile display led by Kundu’s hero.
