The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday (July 27, 2026) stepped up its campaign against E20 petrol by announcing a ‘National Town Hall Against E20’ to be held on August 1 at the Constitution Club in New Delhi.

According to the party, the event will bring together experts, vehicle owners and concerned citizens to discuss the impact of E20 petrol and plan the future course of the campaign.

At a press conference at the AAP headquarters, Arvind Kejriwal, the party’s national convener, said, “The youth of the country forced an arrogant government to bow down and Dharmendra Pradhan had to resign in front of the people. Now I urge the Prime Minister to also solve the E20 petrol problem. People are facing serious problems. Their vehicles are getting damaged, this ministerial minister is also getting damaged and fuel mileage is decreasing. Take the initiative and solve it.” her,” he said.

To bring people across the country together on the E20 issue, the party will hold a ‘National Town Hall Against E20’ on Saturday, Mr Kejriwal said.

“We expect thousands of people to participate. The program will begin at 12 noon at Constitution Club, Delhi. Those living in Delhi and nearby cities who can participate in person should come to Constitution Club by 11:30 am. Those living outside Delhi who cannot participate physically will be able to join online and we expect thousands to participate virtually,” he said.

To join virtually, people can send a WhatsApp message to 8588833212 and the party will share a link to participate with them by Friday evening (July 31, 2026).

“At this town hall, we will bring together E20 experts, people affected by E20 and those whose vehicles have been damaged. Everyone will get a chance to speak. We will also decide on our future strategy to get the government to withdraw E20,” he said.

Mr. Kejriwal also alleged that there has now been another leak of exam papers in Gujarat and claimed that such incidents will continue unless the BJP is ousted from power.

“A massive anti-paper leak movement has been launched across the country. Young people have endured immense hardships. Dharmendra Pradhan has resigned. Parliament is debating a ‘tough’ anti-paper leak law today. Meanwhile, another paper leak has surfaced in Gujarat. The only conclusion is that if the paper leaks are to be stopped, the BJP must be removed from power from the X post,” he said.
