Nine Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) ministers are expected to take oath on Sunday (May 10, 2026), along with party president and chief minister-designate C. Joseph Vijay in Chennai.

Those who made it to the list submitted to Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar are:
‘Bussy’ N. Anand (Elected from T. Nagar Constituency)
Aadhav Arjuna (Villivakkam)
KG Arunraaj (Tiruchengodu)
KA Sengottaiyan (Gobichettipalayam)
P. Venkataramanan (Mylapore)
CTR Nirmalkumar (Thirupparankundram)
A. Rajmohan (Egmore)
TK Prabhu (Karaikudi)
S. Keerthana (Sivakasi)
Including Mr. Vijay (who was elected from Perambur and Tiruchi East constituencies), Chennai will have five ministers. As for the western belt, there will be two ministers and the south three.
Henceforth, there will be one representative each for women and Scheduled Castes (SC). Portfolios for all ministers are likely to be announced later.
