
The three -day trading workshop, which began here on Thursday, emphasized the role of police staff to limit meters.
The workshop held at the Karnataka Police Academy (KPA) is designed for working police staff and the director of KPA Sl Chinnabasavann described him as a mafia that focused on the socially weak and vulnerable part of society.
Although there are several laws that reduce such practices, Mr. Chinnabasavanna said that people have become victims because of their economic vulnerability. Although the police, together with many NGOs and other parts of society, tried to take action for a sordid practice, trading in new form and shape and uses technology, he added.
The director of KPA stated that this became a major challenge for law enforcement authorities and therefore called for greater coordination between different departments, including the Ministry of Women and Child Care, Police, etc.
The role of authorities and administration does not end with the rescue of victims of trafficking in people, but they must also be rehabilitated and advice, added the official.
The workshop is attended by 31 police officials from all over the state, including 28 sub-INDPectors.
