Andhra Pradesh Women’s Commission Chairperson Rayapati Sailaja on Wednesday visited the Nori Rama Sastry Ayurvedic College in Vijayawada government following a complaint received via email about alleged sexual harassment of female students by faculty members.
Ms. Sailaja communicated separately with students and teachers to ascertain the facts. She later told the media that one student had written to the Commission alleging sexual harassment and pointed out that an investigation by the school’s management had not been properly conducted.
