A woman died after she was caught by a crop processing machine at Mudadga village in Aland taluk of Kalaburagi district on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as gangamma sudhakar hagaragi, 40, a resident of Dhudaga village.
According to police, the incident occurred while she was loading soybeans into the machine. The end of her saree allegedly got entangled in the processing machine, pulling her into the machine and killing her on the spot.
After the incident, her husband Sudhakar filed a complaint at the Narona police station.
