
The woman suffered serious injuries after her seventeen -year -old daughter was stabbed during an argument over excessive use of mobile phones. A wounded woman is a teacher living on a lease in Alappuzha Beach Ward. Her daughter, plus one student, was booked by Alappuzha South Police. The incident occurred on Wednesday 10:30.
Reportedly they had frequent quarrels through the use of a mobile phone. The previous day, the mother hid the phone charger, which led to the argument. Wednesday morning their home dog urinates on the floor of the house. When her mother asked her daughter to clean her, it reportedly caused an attack. In a bout of rage, the girl stabbed her mother in her neck with a kitchen knife, the police said.
The woman who suffered a deep wound in her throat ran to the neighborhood house looking for help. She gathered on her neighbor’s porch, unconscious and severely bleeding. The young man present immediately tied the fabric around his neck to stop the bleeding. It was also found that her hair and face were slightly burned.
The southern police were immediately informed and arrived at the place, but it was not possible to take it to the hospital in a police vehicle because of its condition. Later, an ambulance arrived and rushed to the government hospital Medical College, Alappuzha, where she underwent an emergency operation. It is now in an intensive care unit.
The student was moved to the Sakhi government shelter. The police said clear details of the incident would be known only after the woman recovered enough to give her a statement.
