The woman was reportedly murdered by her brother -in -law in the village of Ganapuram in Pagidala Mandal in the district on Thursday (September 4, 2025). A woman identified as Sugali Nagamma was everyday agricultural work and was involved in family disputes with her sister -in -law Lokanna Naik. On Thursday they had a heated argument and in fit or rage Naik attacked a woman with an iron rod leading to her immediate death. The case has been registered and the investigation is turned on.
