A 50 -year -old woman died on the spot after she fell on her tree after the rain accompanied by gusts in the village of Arja in Viarapet Taluk, Kodag.
The deceased was identified as Gowri. In the last few days, Kodag has witnessed mild to heavy rains. Virajpet Tahsildar, Inspector of Income and President of Gram Panchayat in the area plunged into the village and asked about the incident.
