A woman from Perth, Australia, was left after finding that her doctor was using Chatgpt – the popular AI Chatbot developed by OpenAi – to eat. The woman shared her experience in Reddit and said she had seen a doctor to get the results of the tests, but was left in disbelief after she witnessed a doctor who had inserted information from the AI instrument.
“I never felt like I was sitting in front of a stupid doctor,” she wrote in a long post.
“I feel like a top laziness, stupid and inaccurate medical advice.”
The woman revealed that her doctor copied her blood test results to Chatgpt along with her age and sought suggestions on what to do next. She admitted that doctors sometimes rely on Google; But she felt that this “crossed the line”.
She knew that doctors sometimes refer to Google or Medical magazines during meetings that a woman couldn’t help but wonder -is it normal?
Reportedly filed a complaint with the Australian Agency for the Regulation of the Health Care doctor (AHPRA) and will also be taken over by the Office for Wiping Health and Health Services.
“Does AI have a place in medicine?”
The commentators of the post agreed with the poster throughout the heart and expressed concerns about the legitimacy of the diagnosis of AI.
According to Aussie GP Sam Hay – a doctor, sometimes it could sometimes be guaranteed.
“Does AI have a place in medicine? I think yes … in the right hands!” Kidpot said.
“Any web search tool has its use for doctors as a means of quick search for information and facts. I use them daily, including before patients. But, and it’s big, but you need to know how to trust information that is fired.”
He added that for this reason it is so important to find a doctor you trust.
“For me, it’s all about using reliable sources from reputable sources – which means I have to filter through those that are clearly tricks and advertising.
“As far as Chatgpt-like engines are concerned, they can be used to lead a doctor and offer proposals-in the essence to help us“ missed nothing ”rather than to“ provide a diagnosis without thinking.
“Your doctor should ensure that any engine includes recent evidence, renowned sources and industrial standard instructions. And nothing replaces clinical evaluation – the skill is to know how to interpret what Chatgpt suits for the patient!”
