A woman accuses her husband, her father-in-law, of kidnapping her daughter

The woman, Kamidi Gayatri, who has filed a case against her husband Talluri Venkat Siddharth, has accused her in-laws of kidnapping her two-year-old daughter.

Lady Gayatri and Siddhartha have twins. Due to some disputes, the couple has been living separately for several months now, Gayatri told the media on Thursday.

She alleged that Siddhartha and his mother Talluri Gayatri Devi came to her house in Visakhapatnam and abducted one of the children to Vijayawada.

Meanwhile, Progressive Organization for Women (POW) state secretary P. Padma and vice-president R. Ganga Bhavani demanded immediate handover of baby Gayatri.

The Arilova police have registered a case. But the woman’s mother-in-law, who works in the ministerial foothold, is hampering the investigation, Ms. Padma alleged.
