Three people, including a nine-year-old boy, sustained injuries after a war broke out in an accident in Bengaluru’s Pattangere Rajarajeshwari Nagar (RR Nagar) area on Saturday (October 24) morning.
The injured were identified as Bablu, Lakshmama, who lives in a neighboring house, and a nine-year-old boy. The police took them to a private hospital for treatment.
According to preliminary information, the incident took place in an accident belonging to Bablu, a native of Bihar who has been living in Bengaluru for the past 20 years. Although he owns a house elsewhere, he used the crop to store materials for his pani puri business.
A suspected gas leak from a pressure cylinder is said to have occurred during the night, after which a fire broke out inside the cabin. Pressure is believed to have built up inside the compound. When Bablu arrived in the morning and opened the door, flames suddenly erupted, injuring him and the other two.
Firefighters and police officers searched the scene. Further details on the cause of the incident and the extent of the injuries are awaited.
