A three-day global meeting on diabetes will be held in Kovalam

The 14th annual Global Diabetes Convention will begin in Kovalam on Friday (July 10, 2026), bringing together leading diabetes experts, doctors, researchers, nutritionists, diabetes educators and health professionals.

“Helping you choose the best in care” is the central theme of the three-day conference organized by Jothydev’s Professional Education Forum (JPEF). More than 2,500 healthcare professionals are expected to attend the conference.

Health Minister K. Muraleedharan will deliver the inaugural address at the convention on July 11.

Highlights of the event will include lectures on next-generation obesity therapies, new drugs such as Baxdrostat and Vicadrostat, advances in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), AI-driven personalized diabetes care, automated insulin delivery systems, stem cell research, Teplizumab for type 1 diabetes composition analysis, once-weekly diabetes treatment, basal insulin and diabetes metabolic management, precigeria care.
