A TGSRTC bus swerves to avoid a motorcycle, hits an electric pole in Jagtial

A TGSRTC bus rammed into an electric pole while trying to avoid hitting a motorcycle while taking a bend on the Medipalli Expressway in Ibrahimpatnam mandal of Jagtial district on Thursday.

According to sources, the incident took place when the driver of the bus, which was traveling from Nizamabad towards Metpalli, braked hard to avoid hitting the motorcycle. The bus went off the road and hit a power pole.

A motorcycle rider, identified as Lakshman of Bandalingapur village in the same mandal, sustained injuries after he allegedly fell from his two-wheeler.

He was taken to a hospital in Jagtial for treatment. None of the bus passengers were injured in the incident. However, the front part of the bus was damaged in the impact.
