A taxi driver working with a private horse riding platform has fled Wednesday with a cash box containing 25 lakh in the Balanagar.
According to the Police Inspector Balanagar T. Narasimha Raju, the customer turned to the City Bank branch in Balanagar to download 25 lakh. Since the branch did not have enough cash, the bank manager of the assistant manager Nagarjun and the guard instructed the required amount from the Secunderabad Bank headquarters. “They booked the cabin and gathered a cash box. During the journey, the driver, later identified as a USman ali via the application, allegedly realized that the box contained a large amount of money, portrayed to distract the bank officials and escaped with it,” the officer said.
Once the accompaniment and others got out of the car, he escaped from the place. “We still have to trace him,” the officer added. Based on a complaint from banking officers, the Balanagar Police booked a case and started a probe.
