The government will launch strict legal steps against agencies by selling non -standard feed and poultry in the state, said the Minister of Animal Breeding J. Chinchurani.
On Saturday, she launched a new building of the veterinary hospital in Thamarakulam Gram Panchayat and called on milk farmers to provide quality cattle feed to increase milk production in the state. “Milk farmers should ensure that cattle get nutritious and high quality feed. Kerala is a state that offers the highest milk price in the country.
Mrs. Chinchurani said that a comprehensive system of insurance to cover all cows in Kerala was under the shift of the government.
