On Saturday (August 23, 2025), there was a stir in Uttar Pradesh in Uttar Pradesh after a video of men who achieved the district municipality (DM) of the Kheri office (DM), and carried the dead body of their newborn in the viral bag on social media. He claimed that the private hospital where his wife was adopted was constantly increasing the fee and delayed delivery, which led to death. The opposition has set out in the State Government on a frantic state of health services and a lack of regulatory supervision.
“I admitted my wife to the hospital (Lakhimpur Kheri). They (hospital management) stated that normal delivery would cost 10,000 ₹ and the delivery of C-Section would cost £ 12,000. The incident occurred on Friday 22nd August at a private hospital called Goldar Hospital.
The President of the Uttar Pradesh Ajay Rai said these scenes clearly show that the UP health system collapsed without regulatory supervision. “In my recent memory, I have not seen such a worrying visual visual, I have been in public life for more than 28 years. The incident emphasizes the collapse of health services and a complete lack of regulatory mechanism in Uttar Pradesh,” said Mr. Rai.
“It is a shameful reality of the UP healthcare services, a video of a helpless father carrying the dead body of his innocent newborn child in his bag is not only the death of the child, but the death of humanity and the system.
In the middle of the commotion, the district administration sealed Goldar Hospital and promised better treatment to the woman. “The admitted patients are moved to the district female hospital. ADM AK Rastogi got to the Srijan hospital, asked for a woman’s condition. The instructions for better treatment. The district administration is with the victim’s family,” DM wrote on X.
