The Railways considered the appeal of Mysuru MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar by introducing a special train between Mysuru and Jaipur.
Mr. Yaduveer urged the railways to run an extra train to handle the rush in view of the Deepavali festival as a large number of passengers are expected to travel from Mysore to Jaipur during the festive season.
The railways responded positively and took steps to introduce a temporary special service on this route.
In a press release, Mr. Yaduveer said that the special train service will help ease passenger congestion and help passengers heading to Rajasthan for the festival.
He also urged the people of Rajasthan and others to make the best use of this facility.
