In a great relief for the Indian Oil Adani (IOA) consumers, the city gas delayed in time of fees, the company introduced a mobile system for self -production in all nine Kochi Corporation divisions, where the project is currently active.
The self -impairment system requires that consumers themselves deduct the meter values to wait for the spot meter reader and enter the IOA application. Anxiety consumers bombed councilors of divisions and local WhatsApp groups with concern about their inability to immediately clean up the accounts. Many of them fell, or were threatened by the fall, the prey of fraudsters online who seemed to use the confusion surrounding the billing.
“There were some problems with the billing we have solved now. We will make awareness of every division to help consumers go to billing.
So far, nearly 15,000 households have been associated with the city gas project, which were used by approximately 6,000 to 7,000. The project was implemented in the next nine divisions: Kunnumpuram, Vennala, Palaraivatom, Thammanam, Chakkaraparamba, Chalikkavattom, Punithura and Ponununni.
The project extension will require the extension of the main pipe that includes road excavation. As the local elections are approaching in the bodies, the councilors are hesitant to dig roads for public resistance.
