Six individuals were arrested by the Rajendranagar Police, in coordination with the Central Crime Station (CCS) team on Saturday 26 April) in connection with the daylight in Suncity in GandiPet at the beginning of this week.
The accused were identified as – Mailadevpally driver, Jibran bin Jaber, Karwan furniture, Mohammed Aqeel, Humayunnagar carmaster, Mohammed Fasuddin, VattepaPly driver, Sahail Shahhah Khan, Saifa driver, Mohammed Abdul Javed, Abdul Afrul Javed, and Mohammed Shabbir.
The incident came to the complainant of Mohammed Shakira Ali, in which he said that four men were forcibly entered their house in the morning of 21 April and threatened him and his wife in Knfepoint. The intruders plundered the house and broke Almirah to stole gold and silver ornaments, cash and two mobile phones before leakage.
The investigation revealed that the primary accused Jibraran bin jaran, a relative of the complainant, was a master of crime. With the confidential knowledge of valuables maintained in the house, he conspired with five accomplices and held weapons and arranged to escape.
After arrest, the police issued public counseling who urged citizens to be careful while sharing personal or financial data with familiar or extended family members. They also recommended that residents avoid storage of large amounts of cash or at home, ensure the proper functioning of CCTV systems and consider the use of secure valuable cabinets. Another investigation is underway.
