President PMK Anbumani Ramadoss said on Monday that the proposed plant on the garbage (energy waste) in the Madhavaram zone should not be done because it would have an impact on millions of people living in this area.
Dr. Anbumani said in Madhavaram to get people’s rights and said Rs. The 1248 Crore Worth project, which hopes to produce electricity by burning waste, including plastic, would be a disaster for people living in Tiruvottiyur, Mathur, Vyasarpadi, Madharam, Kodungaiyur, Royapuram, Kasimedu and Manali.
“As part of its circle 10 km lies, Anna Nagar, Pernur, Pzhal, Sengundram, Villivakkam, Parrys, Kolathur, Egmore, Ayanavaram, Chepauuk, Chepauuk, Purasiwalkam and Chetpet – these areas will also be hit by waste. Comparison with the thermal power plant, ”he said.
Dr. Anbumani added: “The plan is anti-aids. Even developed nations such as the United States and other European countries have ceased to operate these plants.”
