Gandhi Ashram in Ramassery nearby has joined with culinary experts to increase the status of the world famous Ramassery Idli. The aim of the ashram is to ensure the status of the legacy and the inheritance of the idli while ensuring sustainable living to the families for the production of idli. The aim of this cooperation is to take Ramassery Idli to new heights and preserve their traditional recipe and cultural significance.
“The aim of our project is to improve the quality of the production and capacity of the Ramassery Idli while maintaining its uniqueness and cultural heritage,” said Sankaran Ramamoorty scientist.
The new project is trying to create a modern marketing system that will ensure a dignified income for families involved in Idli in Ramassery. “By providing professional training and financial support, we try to seize entrepreneurs Ramassery,” Mr. Ramamoorthy said, explaining the vision of the initiative.
Gandhi Ashram at the head of the project is managed by local socio-economic development in accordance with the vision of Mahatmy Gandhi. The first phase of the initiative includes the establishment of 100 IDLI stores with a planned CRORE 3 GBP.
