Police General (Eagle) Ake Ravi Krishna at a place where two laps in the air were fired in the air on Sunday.
On Sunday (August 17), the Nellore Police fired two laps in the air to stop the man, believed she was a ganja smuggler, after he allegedly tried to move to police staff with a car during a vehicle check on the Chennai-Kokata National Motorway to Balaji Nagar.
The man, identified as beraka Prakash (51) from Rajamahendrama, was on his way to Nellore to sell Ganja consignment when he was captured by the Balaji Nagar police team and elite against narcotics for enforcement. Prakash, however, tried to cross the staff to escape the arrest and injure Constable, Feroz, in the process, the eagle and the police inspector Ake Ravi Krishna told media people.
Subsequently, the inspector K. Sambasiva Rao fired two warning shots in the air and managed to arrest it, except that he was caught from him 22 kg of Ganja.
The accused has several cases of Ganja smugglers in his name in Eastern Godavari, Eluru and Nellore. He also has a historical letter opened by the Jeelugumilli police against him.
