VIZIANAGARAM:
The philanthropist’s initiative helps many children gain access to music and dance classes in Vizianagaram, which is called the cultural capital of AP. Many traditional music and dance schools and training institutions are located in and around the Vizianagaram fort, but many children from other areas such as Gajularega, Kottagraharam, Cantonment and other places cannot attend classes due to lack of direct transport and time constraints after school hours.
Observing the plight of the children, businessman Puvvada Madhusudan established the Puvvada Anjamma Memorial Music and Training School at his residence in Kothagaram in the name of his mother Anjamma, who had helped many children learn traditional dances and Carnatic music.
