
The Karnataka government has issued new protocols for inviting Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Ministers, MLAs, MLCs and other dignitaries to state, district and taluk level functions.
A protocol notice was issued to ensure smooth running of the programs and to prevent crowding of dignitaries and guests on stage.
For example, he said, the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of the respective department and local MLAs should be invited for state or district level functions.
In case of centrally sponsored programmes, Governor, Union Minister, Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and local MP are to be invited.
