On Tuesday (July 2, 2025), the Center will be the “perfect mechanism” to implement the motivation of the interconnected employment (ELI) approved by the Union’s cabinet on Tuesday (July 2, 2025).
The Minister of Labor Mansukh Mandaviya said that the new mechanism would soon be carried out and added that the mechanism would be perfect and work on the basis of wages in the organization of interim funds of employees (EPFO). He said that all employers registered within the EPFO would be entitled to this system.
Mr. Mandaviya said that the Center will learn from the past and make repairs on the basis of experience in performing the motivational system of the interconnected production in 2020. In the new ELI system, the first EPFO employees would receive an EPF monthly wage up to 15,000 GBP in two installments.
“Employees with salaries up to 1 MAKH will be eligible. The first installment will be due after six months of service and the second installment will be due after 12 months of service and after completion of the financial literacy program by the employee,” the Center said on Tuesday (July 2, 2025).
Social Security Network
Mr. Mandaviya said that the efforts of the Center for the extension of the Social Security network paid off and the international work organization approved that more than 90 Indians of Crore currently had one or other social security. He added that the Union’s government is trying to sign social security agreements with multiple countries so that the Indians working abroad can also use social security systems in India. He said that the country will include social security in negotiations with bilateral and versatile trade agreements.

Meanwhile, the left side questioned the ELI system. CPI (M), who demanded that the center to cancel the system, stated that by another attempt by the Government of the Union on the benefit of enterprises at the cost of workers. “This is another example of his Cronaism. The ELI scheme is another deceitful scheme of public funds to enterprises, shrouded in the promise to strengthen job creation, employability and social security for youth to deceive youth.
This system supports fragile and uncertain jobs, subsidizes investment costs, production costs, labor costs and statutory obligations of domestic and foreign employers from the public cash desk, ”the statement said.
For the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh Government Union, the ELI welcomed the ELI system and said it would help in creating employment. BMS said the quality of employment, safety of employment, safe workplace and access to social security was also equally important.
