
The most modern laboratory complex was completed at the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, under the University of Kererala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University.
The device located on the Varghese Kurien Institute of Dairy and Food Technology will officially open and dedicated to the public by the main Minister of Pinaayi Vijayan on June 16.
Along with the inauguration of the laboratory, the main minister will inaugurate the hostel of new girls and auditoriums at the Varghese Kurien Institute of Dairy and Food Technology.
The ceremony will be chaired by the Minister of Animal Breeding and the development of milk and dairy products J. Chinch Rani, while the Minister of Income K. Rajan will deliver the main speech. Vice -Chairman of the Chancellor of the KS Anil, P. Sudheer and other dignitaries will be present.
Built with a financial expenditure of 32 GBP within the NABARD RIDF system (Fund for the development of rural infrastructure infrastructure), a laboratory of 45,000 square feet.
The laboratory will offer a wide range of services under one roof, including the diagnosis of various diseases, testing of food and drinking water sampling, quality analyzes for animals and evaluation of mineral content – services already provided by the university.
In response to the growing number of students – which now make up 70% of the university’s student body – a new hostel with 17 rooms and a total area of 10,000 square feet was also built, the first floor is now ready for occupancy.
