Police found a five-year-old boy with his parents on Monday after he went missing from his neighborhood during the day.
According to Miyapur Inspector Shivaprasad, Siddharth, son of Rajesh and a resident of Miyapur New Colony, wandered almost a kilometer from his house while playing outside in the morning and his family could not trace him.
A patrol of constables noticed the child and took him into custody. After about two hours of searching for his parents, the police managed to identify and locate the family and safely hand over the boy.
The parents expressed relief and gratitude to police and said they were preparing to file a complaint after their own efforts to find the child were unsuccessful.
