Sohan M Rai, a startup founder and digital creator, recently shared a video of an AI-powered device he built to order food the moment his stomach starts to growl. In the video, Rai says, “I invented this device that understands when I’m hungry and automatically orders food on Zomate,” before explaining how the device can be clipped to a belt.
Rai says the device, which is called the “MOM (Meal Ordering Module),” turns on when it detects the growl it makes and immediately places the order. He assembled the hardware from a mix of components, including his sister’s stethoscope, and connected it to the Claude AI to see if he was hungry.

This video has raised both amusement and questions on the Internet. “How did you test it?” one user asked. “I had to sit all day without food,” replied Rai. Meanwhile, another viewer wrote: “Snarling doesn’t mean hungry. But good job.” “I get it when I’m hungry. That’s how it works for me,” Rai replied. Another added: “What was the need for that?”
