On Monday, June 16, three usual perpetrators were arrested by the Police of Tolichowki, involved in the theft of the Golden Chain from the public bus passenger.
The individuals were identified as Bandari Keshav alias Chinna, Camble Shyam Sunder aka Sreen and Suraj, all results in Asif Nagar. Two other suspects, Vamshi and Vamshi Vardhan of Seetharam Bagh, remain free.
The arrest follows the complaint of Ganipineni’s Babu that his gold chain, weighing approximately 1.4 tolas and 1.5 lakh, was stolen when traveling on the bus TGSRTC 14 June.
Of the three arrested, Keshav and Sunder have long -term criminal history. Keshav is sought in at least seven cases of theft and Dacoity across Hyderabad and Narayanpet, including cases registered in Narayanaguda, Malakpet, Langer Houz, Banjara Hills, Ghatkesar and Habeeb Nagar. Shyam Sunder also has a fertile criminal record with more than 30 previous cases registered against it, including more fees for preventing dangerous activities (PD Act). His previous offenses last ten years.
