A 32-year-old Mettupalayam man in Coimbatore has recently undergone liver transplantation across the group (Abo-Enecompatible) in Moto International Hospital.
The patient, D. Premath, will return to normal routine next month.
The team leader in Amazon, Premnath suddenly fell ill. His belly and legs were bloated. His mother noticed that his eyes were yellow and suspicious jaundice.
The investigation revealed that Premnath had jaundice, then was hospitalized for 15 days and underwent plasma therapy. However, when his condition did not improve, he was looking for treatment in a private multi-specialized hospital in Coimbatore.
He was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis. Later it was confirmed that he had liver failure and was recommended to undergo liver transplantation. PrMNATH turned to Miot, where he was diagnosed with severe jaundice due to bile duct disease. Bile accumulated in the liver, which led to his failure. Although his condition was to optimize intensive care, he did not improve.
Mr. Premath’s blood group was negative and had to deal with a long waiting for a cadaveric liver. Although his wife was willing to donate part of her liver, her blood group was positive.
The doctors soon decided to make a group transplant across the neck on Premnath. Its immune system was weakened to avoid its body to reject the donor body.
“More than 85% of success”
Karthik Mathivanan, the director of the liver transplant and more organs, led by a team that performed surgery, said the global success rate exceeded 85% for liver transplantation abo -cfatible.

The transplant was carried out on 23 January as part of the comprehensive system of health insurance by the main minister.
Normally, in a top hospital, transplantation could stand anywhere between £ 30 and £ 60 depending on the hospital, the doctors emphasized.
