
Telangana Medical Council (TGMC) revealed a case of a medical fraud involving a man who allegedly acted as a doctor in Ankura Hospital for women and children in Madinagud in Hyderabad. The Council affected credible intelligence and performed a surprising inspection in hospital 19. March.
“The inspection team led by Kadali Vishnu, a member of the TGMC, and accompanied by the alertness of M.Rram and M.rakesh, found that a person identified as Kalapala Bharat Kumar worked as a medical officer using counterfeit documents.
After the inspection, TGMC filed a complaint at the Miyapur police station. The Council confirmed that the suspect actually used a fake certificate of registration and noted that further investigation was underway, and information awaiting the Station House officer in Miyapur.
“After the complaints of the TGMC and our internal investigation of the Human Resources Department, Kalapala Bharat Kumar was immediately terminated from the service to submit counterfeit certificates. We are expanding the authorities full of cooperation and continue to take all the necessary steps to support TGMC and police in their investigation.”
As a result of this incident, the Telelangan Medical Council issued a directive for all hospitals, nursing homes and super-specialized hospitals throughout the state to verify the credentials of healthcare professionals before their hiring. The Council emphasized that hospitals can confirm the authenticity of the doctor’s registration on his official website.
