
On Tuesday, the main minister in Delhi Rekha Gupta launched an air pollution plan on Tuesday and announced the main steps to alleviate air pollution-noted the installation of anti-smog weapons on high-rise commercial buildings in the capital-especially those over 3,000 meters such as shops, hotels and office complexes.
The government also ordered that the fog compartment was installed in 13 hotspots of air pollution in the capital, along with the entry of only CNG vehicles only BS-VI, EVS, CNG.
Cameras for detecting vehicles at the end of life
Main Minister Rekha Gupta added that the government plans to install ANPR cameras (automatic numeric plates recognition) on all entrance points in the dili and petrol pumps to detect vehicles contributing to pollution.
The ANPR cameras automatically identify such vehicles and allow the authorities to take immediate steps to trace and prevent their operation in capital.
Delhi air pollution
Delhi consistently is one of the most polluted cities in the world, while PM2.5 levels often exceed safe limits, especially in winter.
According to the report of the Center for Science and the Environment (CSE), Delhi experienced approximately 121 days when air quality met national standards, a decline in 152 days in 2023.
Delhi has the first artificial rain over a cloud mount
