Hundreds of members of the Muslim community, led by religious heads and office bearers Anjuman-E-Islam, requested a huge protest march in Hubball on Friday on Friday that the Act on Change of 2025 should be abolished.
Starting with Bed Circle, demonstrators who wore a band of black arms and held labels against the WAQF 2025 law, marched to Sangolli Rayanna Circle in large numbers. They raised the slogans against the government of the Union demanding the withdrawal of a modified crime.
President Anjuman-E-Islam of Hubballi and former Minister AM Hindasageri led a protest in which other authorities, various Muslim organizations and “Mutawallis” participated and submitted the Memorandum of Tahsildar.
The leader of the community Mohammed Ali Kaji said that while the Indian Constitution issued the same rights to all and gave special facilities to various backward and minority communities, the Union -led BJP government has tried to rip them, saying it is unconstitutional. He demanded that the changes be downloaded immediately.

He said Muslims fought for the freedom of the country, and it was their country where they lived harmoniously and the current government should not resort to testing their patience, warned.
Am Hindasageri, who addressed the protesters, claimed that without involving the participating parties the Government of the Union changed the WAQF Act. They demanded their withdrawal because the changes were against the interests of Muslism.
A number of Muslim leaders were present, including HDUDY chairman Shakir Sanadi, former chairman of HDUDY Anwar Mudhol, Altaf Halwoor, Yousuf Savanur, Ashraf Ali, Abdul Khader Attar, Babajan Mudhol, Mohammed Rafi Bankupur. The police took complicated security measures as a preventive measure due to the protest. Police Commissioner N. Shashikumar together with higher officials personally followed the situation. Due to the protest movement of the vehicle in Hubball, it was influenced for some time because the traffic was redirected by alternative routes.
