Hyderabad Hospital on Saturday, May 23 launched an advanced ‘Central Ambulance Command Centre’ and ‘Special Attached Ambulance Services’ to enhance Golden Hour emergency and trauma services across Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road (ORR) trauma corridors.
The emergency response ecosystem integrates connected ambulance technology, a centralized command center, real-time telemonitoring, specialist-led interventions and coordinated trauma response systems on a single platform to deliver faster medical assistance during emergencies.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Ramesh, who inaugurated the center at Yashoda Hospital’s Hitech City unit, said it will help improve emergency response to road accidents and other medical emergencies by enabling rapid coordination and real-time monitoring through connected ambulance systems.
Director of Medical Services, Dr. A. Lingaiah, said that every second is crucial during emergencies and that the primary objective of the center was to ensure quick and accurate medical intervention during the critical period of the Golden Hour.
“The system integrated with the 24/7 emergency line 105910 has been designed as a rapid response mechanism capable of responding within seconds during emergencies. The connected ambulances are equipped with advanced telemonitoring devices that enable specialists to remotely monitor patients and guide medical teams during patient transport,” he added.
