The infant was accepted in Ammatphhtil Electronic Cradle of Kerala State Council for the care of children in Thycaud here on Sunday evening.
The four -day boy weighing 2.25 kg was found in the cradle around 19:00, when he was transported to the hospital of women and children in Thycaud for medical control. Because he had no health problems, he was transported to the adoption center of the Council for Children Care.
The boy’s name was Swathik. He is the eighth child to be admitted this year in Ammaththtil. Each child’s family should contact the Council within two months of the commencement of adoption procedures, said General Secretary of the GL ARUN GOPI on Monday a statement.
