
The Byatarayanapura police traced a couple who left their newborn daughter in Authorickshaw when she had a cleft lip at birth.
The incident occurred in the early morning hours of April 24, when the inhabitants of Byatarayanapura heard her cry from the authorickshaw parked in front of the house.
They found a child and alerted the police. The police handed it over to the officials of the Child Care Committee, even though they started the probe to trace the child’s parents.
When verifying the shots from the CCTV cameras in the area and around the police, a couple found a newborn in the parked authorickshaw. Police analyzed shots from more than 150 CCTV cameras to watch the couple to the virajapi in the district of Kodag.
The probe revealed that the accused identified as a papanna, a private company of an employee, married and the father of three children, had a ratio with a widow around the age of 30, a free mother of a five -year -old boy. After delivery, she found that the child had a cleft lip and decided to leave it to get rid of the newborn. The couple came to Bengalur on the bus and threw the child to the authorickshaw and fled from the city.
The police arrested the papan and gathered a child with her mother and warned her to take care of the child. Police reported local CWC members to follow the woman and take the papan into custody for further investigation.
