A four -member joint news team will be created to streamline the flow of interdepartmental information among the Telelangan and the drug trade unions. The unit will focus on the monitoring of drug trafficking, online and offline trading, and on increasing the cooperation between the wings of recovery.
The decision was taken at a coordination meeting between two departments in Abkari Bhavan in the city on Friday. The director of the prohibition and excise duty Shahnawaz Qasim said that special attention should be paid to industrial, forensic laborators, joint training, findings, WhatsApp groups and drug trafficking.
He recommended a comprehensive brochure for an action plan that outlined the “route map” for integrated enforcement strategies. He also emphasized the coordinated efforts between departments to prepare the way for effective promotion of the rules.
The meeting was combined by higher officers from the consumer and drug control department who discussed the urgent need for common operations and a structured approach to dealing with drug trafficking and abuse.
