A class ten student, identified as E. Ajith (16), reportedly ended his life at Dr. BR Ambedkara Gurukul Patasala at Pedavagi in Eluru District.
His body was found hanging from the ceiling of his room. Staff and students rushed the boy to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, said Pedavegi SI M. Hari Gopal.
The boy’s father Ramesh raised doubts about the death and lodged a complaint with the Pedavegi police.
A case has been registered and investigation is on, Mr. Hari Gopal, who visited Patasalu, told The Hindu.
