
A case against the leader of TDP Madan Bhupal Reddy, a relative of the Minister of Roads and BC Janardhan Reddy, was registered for the slap and abuse of the armed reserve (AR) in service at the event, attended by the Minister in Colimigundle of the district. Kolimigundla falls under the Banaganapalle election district represented by Mr. Janardhan Reddy.
The Circle Inspector of the colimigundl Maddineni Ramesh Babu said that against Mr. Bhupal Reddy was registered a case based on the complaint filed by AR Constable Jaswant. He was accused of defending the duties of a policeman and an attack on a government official.
The incident occurred on Wednesday during the initiation of the reconstructed SRI Lakshmi Zarasimha Swamy Church in the village of Kolimigundla, attended by Minister for the Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and Mr. Janardhan Reddy. The police took sophisticated measures for a ceremony that took place in the middle of religious enthusiasm and fanfare.
During the religious ceremony, when ministers and others entered the temple, Mr. Bhupal Reddy, who comes from the indigenous village of Janardhan Reddy, also tried to enter the temple. Because there were too many people inside, the police stopped Mr. Bhupal Reddy and others outside.
Mr. Bhupal Reddy was angry and raised the argument and slapped Constable in a bout of rage. Mr. Bhupal’s video of Reddy’s abusing and Pustál’s slap became viral on social media platforms.
Janardhan Reddy responded to the incident and said it was an unfortunate incident and ordered higher police officials to take steps against the participating person regardless of his political affiliation.
In his statement, the Minister stated that the company was registered against Mr. Bhupal Reddy. He said that those who are in public life should behave responsibly and clarified that the government of NDA will not save anyone who treats officials.
