The state government informed the High Court in Kerala that the proposal for legal regulations in the state of the entertainment sector is likely to be placed in front of the ministers’ council within one month.
The draft legislation was prepared after the inclusion of proposals from the public.
The Court of Justice, who heard cases related to the Hema Compee report, had a previous hearing of the gap in the sexual harassment of women in the workplace (prevention, ban and compensation) of 2013 from 2013, not applying to sexual exploitation of job seekers. Subsequently, the Female Commission of Kerala recommended special legislation for the entertainment sector.
The matter was published on another hearing in the second week of November.
