Police Nelamangala arrested a 25 -year -old woman who allegedly killed her newborn by drowned in a cauldron that boiled water in Sunday (July 6, 2025).
The defendant, Radha, was married to the driver Rickshaw, two years ago and two years ago he submitted a boy half a month ago. After giving birth, she stayed in her parent’s house.
The police suspect that the defendant suffered from depression after giving birth, and was angry that Pawan had stopped visiting her. The last few days were also concerned when the child cried and could not feed him, the police said.
Reportedly she raised her baby, drowned him in a large boiler (Hande) and returned to sleep. The incident came to light on July 7 (Monday) in the morning when her parents noticed that the child was missing and questioning it. Radha allegedly claimed that some unknown person came in the middle of the night and took a child after which the parents warned the police.
The parents later searched the house to find a child in the boiler. The police threw themselves into the place and questioned Radha. Detailed interrogation led her to grant crime, the police said.
On the basis of her admission, the police arrested Radha, who accused her according to Section 103 (Murder) for further investigation.
