
Dilli’s Rouse Avenue Courts on Monday closed a case of corruption against the leader of AAM AADMI PARTY (AAP) Satyendar Jain after the Central Investigation Office (CBI) after four years of probe found no proof of corruption against Jain.
In May 2019, companies were filed against Satyendar Jain – the then Minister PWD and several officials after the complaints of the government headquarters of Delhi on vigilance.
What was the complaint against Satyendar Jain?
Complaints of allegedly irregularities of admission of experts, abuse of project funds and violations of recruitment and financial rules. He also claimed that the “creative team” of the consultants was brought on board without observing the right procedures.
What did Delhi the court said
On Monday, Delhi’s court ruled that no material was found or proposed a criminal plot.
“The accusation, as stated, and the factual background is not enough to be further investigations or to initiate proceedings. The law clearly states that suspicions cannot replace evidence. It is also worth noting that even to charge someone is not enough suspicion;
He then continued to close the case and also added that if any fresh material was accepted against someone, the CBI should explore the matter further.

After the case of Delhi, the Lop Assembly said “BJP agencies had balanced false accusations” against AAP leader.
