
The Air India Express Flight IX2718, which deviated from Bengalur, had to return to the airport on Sunday due to a technical problem in the center of the air, reported on Monday and quoted the airline.
Air India Express’s spokesman said the plane had made a preliminary landing for a circulation period to burn fuel and lighten the plane. This maneuver was performed according to standard safety protocols.
“One of our Bengalur flight flights returned to the airport after a technical problem. The aircraft circled to reduce fuel and weight before performing a safe and preventive landing,” the report quoted an official statement.
The airline said an alternative aircraft was arranged to ensure that passengers could continue their journey.
“We regret the inconvenience and re -confirm our unwavering commitment to safety in all aspects of our operations,” he added.
Investigation is currently underway to identify the cause of the technical problem.
