Former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday, claimed that it was not right for the Congress to be torn down by a constitutional institution, such as the Indian Election Commission for Political Motives.
“The proof is the atomic bomb. If you do not release it, it can explode there in the middle of you,” said Mr. Bommai in Bengalur.
He expressed concern that Congress was making doubts about the integrity of constitutional institutions in the name of voters fraud. “First, they tried to occupy suspicions of EVMS and now focus on the commission itself. When the demonstration was organized to clarify the confusion of hacking EVM, Congress did not participate,” he said.
He points out that state government officials serve as the main election officers and that political parties can also appoint their representatives in the stalls, and claimed that it is unfair to focus on the commission.
“Questions about the inclusion or erase of voters should be raised earlier when they were given the opportunity to participate in this process,” he said.
“Even now, if there is something wrong with the commission, say it clearly with the proof.
He claimed that Congress resorted to such accusations that it was shocked, that Narendra Modi had become the Prime Minister for the third time.
Regarding the internal reservation between SC communities, Mr. Bommai claimed that even now the main Minister Siddaramaiah was not honest about the matter.
