The cornerstone for Krishnaraja Sagar (KRS) built across the Cauverry River in Srirangapatna was originally laid by the ruler of the eighteenth century by the Sultan tip, said HC Mahadevappa Social Security.
Mahadevappa, who spoke after laying the cornerstone for the Bhavan ambedcar in Srirangapatna, said the entrance stone was found at the tank of the Sultan tip.
The Minister claimed that no one had the courage to say it, and said Bros Ambedkar and said that people who “do not know history cannot create it”.
Srirangapatna, a historically important place, was the capital of the region under the reign of the Sultan tip.
Mr. Mahadevappa said he had a mosque on one side and the temple on the other side. “Akbar heard Allah from one end and temple bells on the other,” he said.
The Minister continued to ascribe the abolition of the Ninadasi system on the Sultan tip and said that the former ruler also tried to protect the interests of the oppressed classes.
Furthermore, Mr. Mahadevappa said that series was first introduced in the country by the Sultan tip.
Mr. Mahadevappa described the tip of Sultan as a fighter of freedom who fought the British on the battlefield and even created an alliance with the French to face them, and said that the ruler changed Gubbi and Harihar into shopping centers.
Mahadevappa, who set out on an exception of people who “does not understand the Sultan tip”, said he did not discriminate the ruler of the eighteenth century among his objects.
‘Ridiculous’
The submarine of the former Mysore of the Royal Family Yadveer Krishhnadatt Chamaraja Wadiyar, a deputy, described the statement of Dr. Mahadevappa for “ridiculous”.
Mr. Wadiyar responded to the Minister’s statement and stated that there was no evidence to support the Minister of Social Security, that Sultan had laid the cornerstone for KRS.
Mr. Wadiyar emphasized the need to provide evidence in reference to historical affairs, and said there was no need to create a “politically comfortable” history just to calm part of society.
