Oasis gives a declaration of sorrow expressing sorrows
Oasis issued a statement on Sunday and expressed his grief. “We are shocked and sad when we heard about the tragic death of a fan at our concert Wembley Stadium. Together with our bandmates, we offer sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person,” the group said.
Why did such a tragedy occur?
Police believe that the busy stadium environment means that several individuals have witnessed a fall or recorded shots of the moment.
“The stadium has been busy and we believe there are probably many people who have witnessed the incident, or perhaps consciously or unknowingly caught him on a video of mobile phones,” a spokesman for the Metropolitan police said. “If you have any information that could help us confirm what happened please call 101.”
The Wembley Stadium also issued a statement and said, “Our thoughts go to his family, which was informed and is supported by specially trained police officers.”
Despite the tragedy, the band continued with the planned performance on Sunday evening-the conventional date in five night running in Wembley.
The current tour, which refers to the first meeting of Liam and Noel Gallaghera since the dissolved Oasis in 2009, will continue in Scotland, Ireland, Canada and the US before returning to Wembley for two more shows in September.
