Health services at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences remained on Sunday (August 3, 2025) affected on the third consecutive day, as resident doctors continued their strike against the alleged respect of Shehar Mla Chetan Anand.
Representatives of the Association of Residential doctors (RDA) on Sunday (August 3, 2025) called on their future procedure on Sunday (August 3, 2025). Delegation of RDA members met with higher hospital officials on Saturday as efforts to break Logjam.
According to RDA, pineapple, legislature RJD-Ttred-JD (U), he forcibly entered the hospital and attacked a doctor. But he said that he and his wife were abused by hospital staff. Both parties filed companies in connection with the incident, the police said and noted that the investigation was underway.
Transparency
“During the meeting we got assurance. We require full transparency and liability through immediate public release of CCTV -related shots. This is necessary to ensure the prevailing truth and justice,” RDA said on Saturday (August 2, 2025).
“The administration assured us of full institutional legal aid for resident doctors and security staff who were falsely involved. Administration also assured us that the CCTV camera installation process in high -risk areas such as traumatic center, emergency department, working room and ICUS will start within 72 hours,” he added.
The RDA said it requires an immediate abolition of a “false fir” against a doctor. “We require an investigation into the invocation of parts of the Weapons Act with regard to a serious threat representing the presence of weapons in the health care environment,” she said, adding that the strike will continue “until the next announcement”. Emergency, OPD and other services were affected as a result of the strike.
Charge
RDA previously claimed: “Mla, his wife and his armed guards violently entered the hospital area, physically assault security staff, threatened resident doctors by death, and marked a firearm in the hospital.
Mr. Anand filed a police complaint and claimed that Aiims-Patna employees behaved with him and his wife on Wednesday evening.
“My wife and I went to visit one of my supporters who were admitted to Aiims on Wednesday evening. I wasn’t allowed to enter the hospital with my security. It made my wife intervene,” he said on Thursday.
“At that moment, other employees came and began to behave with their wife. They literally dropped it. I had to intervene. My wife suffered her wrist and back injuries. I was also held for some time.
MLA MLA, Lovely Anand, is MP JD (u) from the Sheohar Lok Sabha seat.
