The political analyst and founder of Swwaj Abhiyan, Yogendra Yadav, said on Friday (August 1, 2025) that the total number of 7.24 voters in the voter’s list (EC) was not surprising, it was disappointing that the reconnaissance panel had not yet published 65 lakh names that were removed from the list. He said Bihar had 8.18 crore adults according to the census and the design roles had only 7.24 names of Crore. “Es are not ashamed of it,” Hindu said.
Mr. Yadav said, “The real game starts now”. The category called “does not recommend with a stand official” that would come for a special inspection and this will be the first candidate for erase, adding that those people who would present documents in the next month could also face lubrication. “The numbers could be huge,” said Mr. Yadav, claiming that if someone protested, many other voters could also find their names removed from the list. “For these three reasons, people can still be eliminated. So 65 Lakh is just the beginning,” he said.
The political analyst said that in two districts that had a higher concentration of the Muslim population, Purnia and Kishanganj, the ratio was slightly below the state level. “But not dramatically, not alarming,” said Mr. Yadav. “EC declares from the roof that these deleted names have made political parties available. Where is the list? Unfortunately, the EC did not publish this list and the format in which EC published information today makes it impossible to compare it to the previous list,” he added. “It is virtually impossible to obtain this information, and this is not a constitutional body like EC. The list hides more than reveals,” he said.
Mr. Yadav urged that the exercise of special intense revision (Sir) should be discarded immediately. “It is an absolutely unconstitutional exercise. It is not just an exercise for the revision of the election role. It is an exercise to change the architecture of universal adult franchise in India. For the first time, he is on voters like India, and assumed he said them like India.
