c) Being eligible to be a member of Rajya Sabha.
d) shall not hold any office for profit under the Indian government or the government of any state or under any local or other authority subject to the inspection of any of these governments.
Conditions for candidates submitting nomination:
1. Applicant’s nomination submission must be a regulation of at least twenty voters as petitioners and at least twenty voters as seconds. The nomination must be submitted to the returning officer, between 11:00 and 15:00 on any day appointed for this purpose – either by the candidate or any of its petitioners or secondaries.
2. The candidate must submit a security deposit £15 000 returning officer in cash or other legal means for elections.
3) The voters must mark the ballot only with this particular pen and not by other pen.
4) ECI appointed Secretary General Rajy Sabha as a returning officer for VP elections.
5) Political parties cannot issue a whip for voting in VP elections.
6) The counting of the votes will take place in Nový Delhi under the supervision of a returning officer. After completing the counting, he signs and issues the return of the elections.
